Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born to Janice
(Cooke), an accountant, and William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke
Kendrick is her older brother and has also been an actor. Anna Kendrick is
Scottish, Irish, and English. She won the Drama League Award and Theatre World
Award for her performance. She had the pleasure of working alongside
choreographer Scott Ellis, choreographer Susan Stroman and many other celebrity
actors in the New York City Opera House. Anna starred in Camp (2003) and was
nominated for the Broadway Tony Award for Best actress (Featured role for
Musical) for her role in High Society. Following the 1991 Tony award winner
Daisy Eagan, she was the second youngest nominee. George Clooney ridiculed her
at the NYC Opera House along with Jeremy Irons and choreographer Susan Stroman.
She also starred in "Jane Eyre" as well as "The Little
Princess" for Broadway. In 1998, Jason Reitman cast her in Up in the Air.
This was after watching her performance on Rocket Science (2007). Only actress
from the 'Twilight Saga to receive an Oscar. In the year 2010, she was
nominated for the role of Natalie Keener in the second and third films of the
series. She graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine in 2003.
London was where she was filming Into the Woods (2014). (September 2013) Has
the unique distinction of having appeared in three major musicals on screen
including Into the Woods (2014).
