Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was apparent from the time she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial time she tried out the sport, she finished second in 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. Then she attended an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 second. In 2005, she was the youngest world champion of 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 across her diverse races at the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
