Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992. She is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Famous for her unique raspy voice, her music combines elements of varied genres and styles, including pop, country pop, hip hop, experimental, and rock. Cyrus has attained the most US Billboard 200 top-five albums in the 21st century of female artists, having 13 entries. Her personal life, public images, and performances have often sparked controversy and garnered extensive media coverage. Cyrus was born to Billy Ray Cyrus and became a teen idol when she portrayed the lead character in the Disney Channel television show Hannah Montana (2006)-2011. As Hannah Montana, she attained three top-five soundtracks on the US Billboard 200, including the US Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "He Could Be the One". Cyrus's personal discography includes US number one albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008), and Bangerz (2013) as well as the top-five releases Can't Be Tamed (2010), Younger Now (2017), Plastic Hearts (2020) and the album for free Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015). The top five also contained Cyrus's EPs The Time of Our Lives (2009) and She Is Coming (1999). Plastic Hearts, Cyrus' most beloved album, premiered at the top of the Billboard Charts for Rock.
