Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16 June, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and raised in Rockwood, Tennessee to Gloria Darlene Tonachio (nee Cisson), a real estate manager and Franklin Thomas Fox, a parole officer. She began her dance and drama training at the age five, and when she was 10 she relocated to Port St. Lucie, Florida where she continued her studies and graduated from high school. Megan started acting and modeling at age 13 after she won several prizes during 1999's American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. When she was 17, she dropped out of school by using correspondence and eventually relocated to Los Angeles, California. Megan's first movie role was Brianna Wallace in Holiday in the Sun (2001) which was a Mary-Kate Olsen/Ashley Olsen film. Her most famous roles are as Sam Witwicky's love interest, Mikaela Banes in Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) as well as April O'Neil in the film reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and its sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016).Ranked as #68 in FHM magazine's "100 Sexiest women in the World 2006" supplement. Maxim magazine's Hot 100 Women of 2007 List placed her at #18. Her ancestry is mainly English but there are also small portions of Scottish, German, and Scots-Irish (Northern Irish), and distant French and Welsh. Megan's six times great-grandmother Mary Powhatan, was thought to be a member of the Powhatan Native American tribe; In this case, it will make Megan of 1/256 Native American ancestry.
